From the heart of McLaren Vale's storied landscape, where millennia of westerly winds have sculpted sandy dunes, the Hastwell & Lightfoot vineyards thrive just 10 km from the sea. This pristine terroir imparts a distinctive character to our Sands of Time Shiraz.

This elegant, medium-bodied Shiraz showcases refined tannins and a lingering finish. Crafted with meticulous care, it benefits from a harmonious blend of French and American oak, enhancing its structure and depth. Whilst it is delightful now, a bit of patience will reward you with even greater complexity through careful aging. 

"Deep crimson with a dark purple core. Blackberry, black cherry and ripe plum lead the way, joined by dark chocolate and a measured touch of cedar and spice. The palate is rich and generous. Dark fruit, mocha and savoury spice are shaped by fine tannins, fresh acidity and well-judged oak. The maturation in American and French oak provides immaculate structure, with the amazing depth to develop further in the bottle, just like the ‘sands of time’.
