LAST BOTTLES REMAINING | EOFY SPECIAL

With the 2021 Sands of Time vintage now released, we're down to the final remaining bottles of our acclaimed 2020 Sands of Time Shiraz.

Crafted from a single vineyard on the deep coastal sands of our McLaren Vale estate, just 250 cases were produced, showcasing the elegance, finesse and complexity that these ancient coastal sands bring to the wine.

Now with five years of bottle age, the 2020 vintage is entering a wonderful drinking window. Rich notes of dark cherry, chocolate, coffee and savoury spice are layered over a fine structure of silky tannins and lingering length. While drinking beautifully today, it still has the pedigree to reward further cellaring.

Awarded 94 Points by Sam Kim (Wine Orbit). Wine critic Ken Gargett described it as:

"A fine McLaren Vale Shiraz with great promise for the future but also providing pleasure at the moment. Deep garnet in colour, the nose opens with appealing red fruit notes. There are warm earth tones, cherries, bay leaves and leather. The palate is soft and gentle, with juicy acidity, sleek tannins, good acidity, focus and length. Lots to like here but every indication is that this will get better and better over the next six to eight years."

As we make room for the 2026 vintages in the winery, we're offering the final bottles of this wine at special EOFY pricing. Once sold out, no further 2020 stock will be available.
